ESSAY 5—Enter the political cults
Rationalist ideas have no hold on irrational people.
Politics has become a cult full of leaders willing to use the American people for their own power and gain. Logic is the lonesome loser in the corner – waiting his turn to speak again; hoping to part the whirlwind waters of anger and fear with his clarity voice. It’s one of the reasons I’m enamored with the Robert Kennedy Jr. campaign. I think he’s willing to say the things out loud that so many of us have been thinking.
